Spartac 2 -
1 Milton & Fulston Utd
Spartac recovered from a goal deficit at half time to return as 2-1
winners against Milton & Fulston Utd. The warning signs were there as
the away side attacked striking a post in the first five minutes. The
visitors continued to play some very good passing football and were
rewarded with a goal midway through the first half. After the break, a
re-motivated Spartac looked a different side and went on to dominate the
remainder. George Hoyle was instrumental scoring a fine equaliser and
Spartacs winner was courtesy of a Jake Seymour strike to cap a fine
individual performance.

Swallows 2 -
Spartac 2
Spartac grabbed a point at Swallows
but either side could have taken all 3 points in a real ding-dong
encounter. Spartac totally dominated the first half and should have been
clear by far more than just the single courtesy of a Lewis Firmin chip at
the break. In the second half, Swallows equalised from a free kick before
adding a second a short while after. Both sides saw penalty kicks saved by
respective goal-keepers, before Spartac rallied and midfielder Ryan Cox
slammed a loose ball into the net to take a share of the points.
